Firearm Transfers

Step 1: Purchase & shipping

Purchasing directly through Birmingham Hill Armory and shipping to us as your FFL dealer is preferred and the most cost-effective option for you.

If you purchase elsewhere, complete your online purchase listing David Miersch as your FFL. A copy of our license is already on file with several popular sites. If your site doesn’t have it, download it below or email dave@birminghamhillarmory.com and we’ll provide a formal copy. Your firearm then ships directly from the vendor to Birmingham Hill Armory.

Step 2: Notification & scheduling

Let us know about your purchase using the form, including your name, phone number, purchased item(s), vendor, and your availability for pickup. We’ll notify you when your firearm arrives and confirm your transfer appointment.

Transfers generally take 20–30 minutes start to finish, depending mostly on how quickly the instant background check completes.

Step 3: Transfer & pickup

At your appointment we’ll run the instant background check through the Pennsylvania State Police and complete the required documentation. Please bring a valid state-issued ID. Fees are due at the time of transfer.

Once everything checks out, you walk out with your new firearm knowing you’ve followed every applicable law and regulation.
