Thompson/Center Renegade .54 Cal Percussion Muzzleloader | Double-Set Triggers | Walnut Stock

Up for sale is a classic, American-made traditional sidelock muzzleloader—a used Thompson/Center Arms Renegade chambered in .54 Caliber Percussion. Manufactured in Rochester, New Hampshire, the Renegade was designed as a rugged, non-glare, working-man’s rifle with a heavy 1-inch octagonal barrel and dark blued steel hardware. Equipped with T/C’s highly adjustable double-set triggers and a versatile 1:48″ twist barrel, this rifle handles both patched round balls and heavy conical projectiles (like Maxi-Balls) with outstanding accuracy. Finished in a durable oil-finished American walnut half-stock, this .54 caliber hammer gun is ideal for traditional black powder hunting seasons or target shooting.

Key Features & Highlights:

• Heavy 1″ Octagonal Barrel: Robust 26″ barrel profile adds muzzle stability for steady offhand aiming and tames heavy .54-caliber recoil.

• Double-Set Triggers: Pulling the rear trigger sets the front trigger for a crisp, ultra-light target release.

• Versatile 1:48″ Twist: Shoots both .530/.535 patched round balls and heavy conical hunter bullets.

• Hooked Breech System: Allows quick, tool-less removal of the barrel for thorough cleaning and maintenance.
