Condition Report
This Marlin 336 is a previously owned, honest deer rifle. It has spent successful seasons in the woods and shows cosmetic character from active hunting use, but remains in very good mechanical condition.

Finish: Retains approximately 85-90% of its original factory bluing. There is standard finish thinning and minor silvering around the muzzle, on the loading gate, and along the high edges of the receiver from normal handling and carrying. Faint operational wear is present on the lever and hammer, but there is no active rust or deep pitting.

Bore: Very Good. The Micro-Groove® bore is bright, clean. The signature multi-groove rifling is sharp, well-defined, and fully intact with no signs of pitting or erosion.

Wood: The wood stock and forend are solid and entirely free of structural cracks or splits. The custom buck deer carving on the side of the buttstock is distinct and handsomely executed, showcasing deep texture. The stock exhibits standard field dings, surface scratches, and pressure marks from genuine use in the woods, giving it an authentic hunting patina.
