Exceptional Marlin Model 336C Lever Action – .30-30 Win w/ Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x
The quintessential American brush gun meets modern optics. The Marlin Model 336C is arguably one of the most successful and beloved lever-action deer rifles ever produced. Thanks to its solid-top receiver and side-ejection design, the 336 platform is perfectly suited for modern scope mounting, unlike traditional top-ejecting lever actions.
This specific rifle pairs the timeless reliability and knockdown power of the classic .30-30 Winchester cartridge with a highly versatile, fast-acquiring Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO). Whether you are navigating dense timber, tracking through thick brush, or taking a shot across a clearing, this setup offers the perfect blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern tactical speed.

Condition Report
This 336C has been well maintained, showing only the lightest signs of careful field use, making it an excellent hunter’s companion or collection piece.
-
Finish: Retains roughly 95% of its original factory bluing. The receiver flats are clean and dark. There is minor, typical edge wear near the muzzle and on the sharp edges of the lever loop from carrying, but absolutely no rust or pitting.
-
Bore: Excellent. The bore is bright and shiny, and the Micro-Groove rifling is sharp and well-defined, promising excellent accuracy with standard hunting loads.
-
Wood: The American walnut stock and forend are in superb condition. The checkering remains crisp and tactile. There are a few very minor, superficial handling dings —typical for a hunted rifle—but no cracks, splits, or major gouges.
-
Mechanics: The lever action is incredibly smooth and locks up tight. Feeding and ejection are flawless. The trigger break is crisp and clean for a lever gun.
-
Optic: The Vortex Strike Eagle is in like-new condition. The glass is crystal clear with no scratches. The magnification ring throws smoothly, and the illuminated reticle functions perfectly through all brightness settings.
