Listing Description:
Up for sale is an uncompromising dangerous game rifle—a custom-built E.R. Shaw Mark VII chambered in the formidable .458 Lott. Built on E.R. Shaw’s precision-machined Mark VII action, this bolt-action rifle is engineered specifically to handle heavy, high-pressure magnum cartridges while delivering smooth cycling, infallible feeding, and custom-grade accuracy. Notably, because the .458 Lott chambering was developed as a lengthened, higher-velocity evolution of the .458 Winchester Magnum, this rifle will also safely fire standard .458 Win Mag ammunition for added versatility.
This turn-key dangerous game setup comes pre-mounted with a premium Leupold VX-R scope featuring an illuminated reticle sitting in heavy-duty steel rings and bases. The fast-acquisition red-dot illumination inside the reticle allows for rapid target tracking on large or charging game in low-light conditions. Outfitted with a heavy-contour barrel, custom stock, and robust recoil pad, this build is ready for safari or North American heavy timber hunting.
